The Power of Gratitude

Ever met that person that seems unnaturally nice or overwhelmingly complimentary? Few and far between but they do exist.
 
I have a dear friend who when I first met her I was quite sure if a person could genuinely be so complimentary. Could someone really like every outfit I wore or think I am really the most “amazing” person they had been with that day.
 

As I got to know her more I realized she understood something most of the world had not.
 
The power of gratitude.
 
To start the day off loving life, thankful for all that is around you, who created you, where you have come from and where you are going. To live from a perspective like this is what can allow you to be one that leaves a mark on others just like my friend. And now me.
 
Gratitude is a door opener for many good things, fresh perspective, new friends and a thankful outlook on life.

3 Simple Steps to a grateful life:
 
1. Let go of the past… you can choose to start each day a fresh.
 
2. Every morning first thing think of 10 things you are grateful for. This could literally be the fact you woke up, the place you slept, sleeping…anything you can think of.
 
3. Look for things & people throughout your day to be thankful for. YES, they are out there take the time to recognize them and be thankful for them.
